trying to see if i can write my own webpage

i've decided to 'inactivate' the links which are dormant (ie. nothing has been done to it! =)), or still heavily under construction, so as to save u guys the trouble of checking it, only to find that it's empty. so basically it means that links which are active, work, and have things in them. is a 'stop press!' symbol of sorts. it indicates that the link is more or less 'topical', uploaded almost immediately after an event happens, and will be shortly removed, cos it doesnt have lasting interest. i'll probably then archive it in 'catacombs', so as to maintain a level of neatness on my index page. =)
