|||||||||||||||||
| In the early days of model railroading, before the use of plasitcs, and the development of modual wall systems, and detail parts, most model railroaders had to build structures and detail parts using common household items. Basswood, balsawood and yes, cereal boxes, were cut, carved, and white glued together to make buildings and other things needed for the layout.
