Well, I'm sure no one reads this, but I "stumbled" apon my web site here. I've been busy and have ignored this site because;
1. I haven't done much with web-design lately anyway
2. I really don't like this page anymore...actually, I cringe when I think about it. :-)

Future plans for life; (er..the life of this page!)
Create a new page w/ my own domain name
Delete this one or keep it only for memoirs.

I'm thinking/praying about taking some really cool web courses at Gordon Cooper next fall. -Like learning how to make un-static pages! :-)

I noticed Sam linked to this page from his blog. I really need to get something better up here...If anyone visits this, I die. ok, not really. But you get the picture. I'm embarrassed.

What I REALLY want to do is (ok, yes it is similar to Sam's page) create a cms (content management system) and have a blog on my home page. But my home page would also have other stuff on it. My problem is that I don't know near enough to do this yet. I originally stated (to myself) that I would NOT create a blog until I could create the system behind it, but I'm kind of looking at using WordPress. Even though I wouldn't be doing all of the coding behind my blog, it actually might look nicer because I would be using coding done by people a lot smarter than me.

So that is were I'm at right now. If you read this, I send my "hello!"

Hello there! I'm leaving tomorrow early morning for the "trip". I will be gone until August 8th. I will miss my home and my people here.

But, I'm much excited about going- seeing my cousins, Becky and Abbey and staying in the mountains.

I finally got the band web-site up. My bones are just itching to totally redo this one as I've learned so much more.

Tonight I am going to go see the last dress rehearsal of Tom Sawyer, directed by some very dear friends. 2 years ago we were in Anne of GG directed by the same people and we had such a very good experience.

We haven't even started packing yet....Better go.

Good Evening-- Well, it seems I've shown my web-site to more people than I thought I would. That makes me kind of scared! :-)

I tried installing a guest book and counter tonight. I think that they will work, but I coded them kind of sloppily. I really need to clean up the html for this "Katie Marie" site.. I know it would not validate with the w3 standards.

Tonight I also learned how to ftp some! -That means, file transfer protocol... I think. Just another (well, the real way,) to load files up to my web page.

The Band site is coming along! I got some more info from Mr. Rye tonight, so I have lots more to add to it. I have lots more work to do!
Do any of you fellow band members have any good pictures of the band in concert on your computer? I want to add some pictures, but don't have any. I don't think any of Mr. Rye's are on his computer, and I don't think he has a scanner.

Actually, any cool band pictures AT ALL, if you send them to me, I might stick them up! :-)

Hello World! Well, the few people that I've given my link to..
Guess what? I get to do Mr. Rye's website. I am so excited about it. I have a lot of the format/layout done already. It is so fun! I really hope it turns out nice.

Yesterday I straigtened my hair. It feels so weird to have straight-er hair! I was going to post a picture of it, but never got anyone to take the pictures. It doesn't matter though,,,who would really want to see it anyway?! :-)

I promise; I want to post more interesting stuff on here, but right now I need to go to bed...It's about that time...(or past that time??)

I am really tired! Today I worked on my website a bunch, and it has improved some. I'm not really happy with my graphics right now--but I have all my life to change them. Right now I just want to get some of this on the web. :-)
I've been really excited about learning web-design of late because I'm hoping that I can fix up my home school band's web-site. It is really outdated and has no maintenance. Tell me what you think of my page.
