Today's Teardrop
To all who know me
to all that care,
I write these words
my soul to bare.

I've lost my mind
I've lost my heart,
My dreams were stolen
my life torn apart.

I fear these hands
I fear my voice,
And now I see
I've got to make a choice.

Look into my eyes
see who I am,
Now please tell me
where do I stand?

I pray for my life
I pray for my love,
I pray for prevention
from sending me up above.

I'll try to make ammends
I'll one day get that smile,
All I've got to do
is wait a little while.

GIve me the strength
to right what's wrong,
But I beg for the peace
to last that long...

I can only cry so much.
