I Will Always Love You
When we left each other, we kept our feelings in our hearts,
We promised we’d always think of one another,
even though we were apart.
I thought I could forget about the pain,
and love another once more,
I’ve tried over and over again,
but find that you are the only one I adore.

Not a day goes by, that I don’t think about when we were together,
I never thought we would separate,
and I hoped we’d be in love forever.
Special things can happen, if you give it enough time,
What we had was more special, than any two lovers could ever find.

My heart cries out for more, every time I see your face,
Please come and rescue me, and take me from this horrible place.
Strange as it may seem, but no one can change my feelings for you,
I can’t just put everything behind me now,
after all that we’ve been through.

I don’t know if you’ve found someone,
that can love you the way that I do,
As long as you’re happy, give it a try -
since you’ve already found someone new.
If I get down on my knees, and I start to cry,
May I ask you out again, and you say yes, to this one last try?

I want to make things better, than the way it was back then,
But before you make the decision, can we see each other again?
If you choose not to love me, then there’s nothing that I can do,
But I want you to keep in mind, that I will always love you.
