A Friend For All Times
I know you must be hurting,
and I wish I could ease your pain,
But I make to you this promise,
that will prosper and remain.

I send to you my friendship,
my understanding and my care,
Please share with me what you're feeling,
and keep in mind, that I'll be there.

It doesn't matter the situation,
there's nothing I wouldn't do,
I would gladly sacrifice every spare moment,
just to help you get by and get through.

The moments with you are precious,
and I'd like you to be happy, healthy, and free,
So remember that when you need a helping hand,
you can count on a friend like me.
