News:
The weeks leading up to EHW's latest pay-per-view,
Aftermath, have been filled with both controversy and incredible action.
There is massive hype heading into the pay-per-view, the fourth since EHW
returned from layoff.
The EHW was set back a little by the loss of Shatter and XX to
retirement after the firing of Shawn Thompson. However, while the old
staples of the federation may have left, there are a number of young
superstars ready and willing to step into their roles. From George
Williams (who captured Shatter's vacated United States title) to Kold
Blood and Fury (who will battle at Aftermath for XX's vacated Hardcore
title), there are plenty of young guns to help carry the EHW into the next
level.
EHW has seen the emergence of new, heated feuds, giving the fed some of
the greatest matches is history. Warring factions become a primary source
of interest again, as the battles between the Impact Players and the
Wicked Minds. However, possibly the greates feud has been the one between
EHW European champion Mayhem and former champion K-Bomb. These two were
part of Halloween night's Deadly Games match, an instant classic and
candidate for Match of the Year. These two will continue their battles at
Aftermath when the European title is on the line in a Last Man Standing
match.
That's all for this week's news segment - check back next time for an
Aftermath recap, including the card's main event - Assasin and Ravage
facing off in an Okinawa Fatal Face Off for the EHW World title.
