Cover Story:Oblivion: A Title or a Foreshadowing?

With Oblivion on the rise, many wonder if the title of the pay per view is simply that, a title, or a foreshadowing. Oblivion has a promising card, with everything from the obligatory monthly career battle royal to the most talked about match on the card, the Dual Championship Ironman Match. Now, with EHW boasting one of the most impressive pay per view lineups in quite some time, most wonder if it will propel EHW into the megastar status that it so greatly deserves, or if it will be the end to one of the most successful wrestling companies in the history of the business.

Some are concerned with the physical well-being of the superstars involved with EHW. Others are worried that large production costs will bury the company in so much debt that bankruptcy will be declared, EHW will go in the hole, and the company will burn out brightly, far beyond its expectancy. Regardless of whatever the reasoning behind it, it looks to be that Oblivion is being met with just as much skepticism and doubt as eagerness. With this in mind, we went to the top of the staff to try and get some answers as to why this may be.

When approached about the concern, EHW Co-Owner Jack ORiley as quoted as having said, You know, we take what we do very seriously. We put the welfare of our wrestlers first on our list of priorities, with the fans and the company being our second and third concerns. We would never put anyone in a compromising position unless they were the ones asking for the opportunity. Were the best at what we do, and this certainly isnt the first time that EHW has been met with skepticism. It happens, and as always, well prove to remain the number one leader in sports-entertainment. Just watch and see, Oblivion will live up to the hype, and then some.

With a promise like that, one has to wonder, will the pay per view turn out as well as ORiley says, or will the event leave EHW broken and unable to get back onto its own two feet? Just as the cover says folks, only time will tell.
