Introduction to ESLR’s

     At Eastlake High School, we have standards that all students are to maintain known as Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLR’s for short).  There are four of them, as follows: Self Directed Learner, Effective Communicator, Culturally Empowered Community Member, Productive Individual.  These four things are what all at Eastlake High School strive for.  They are posted in many classrooms to remind students of the goals that they should fulfill.  There are also ESLR’s at the middle schools that filter in to Eastlake to train students for high school.  My experience with these has been excellent, seeing as I try hard to always fulfill them.  Most students who strive to fulfill these goals become, generally, well rounded people.  As a student at Eastlake I hope, through the ESLR’s that I can become a well-rounded student.  In my portfolio, I will be showcasing work I have done this past year that exemplifies these standards.
