The "Hey Steve!" Pose

Many thanks to Professor Rick Norton at the US Naval College for putting a name to something that I'd seen but been unable to describe. Let me give it to you in Rick's on terms....

The following is an exceprt from discussions on the Colonial Wars Yahoo Group:
...or Old Glory's "Hey Steve!" figures (my brother coined
the term - it's for the casting that is holding a weapon to
fire downrange, but is turning his head to yell or talk or
look at someone next to him.)...

Let me show you an example.

See? The fellow is pointing his gun at the bad guys, but he's busily checking out the topless beach setup on the next table. Either that or he doesn't want the officer to bolt without his knowing; so that his follow-on can be that much faster. No matter which way you look at it, it's not a great combat pose.

Got your own term for the "Hey Steve" pose?
Mail it to me! [email protected]
