2 Weeks Until I'm Back Down In Aus!
Sydney: Sat 3rd - Mon 12th April
Adelaide: Mon 12th - Wed 21st April

15th March 2004

Yes, I've finally updated the photo on my home page and I've also uploaded a bunch of new photos onto the site that you can view by clicking here. I hope you all enjoy the snaps which include photos taken during my visit to Enniskillen to catch up with Jane.

Lots and lots going on here with the build up to St Patrick's day this coming Wednesday. Jane is visiting me at the moment and we had the chance to go and check out the pre-St Patrick's Day fireworks with some work mates last Saturday night which was brilliant and was followed by a few pints of the old Guiness. Pictured in the photo is Linda behind me (Pom), Barry (South African or Saffa), and Julia in the foreground (also a Saffa). I'm not sure about the mysterious girl in the background because I don't work with her and only briefly met her.

Unfortunately no further progress on the I.T job hunting at the moment. I've shifted my focus now to getting work in the U.K when I return but there may yet be some possibilities in Ireland.

Other than that everything is going great and I've started making a point of enjoying the variety of events Dublin has to offer including seeing some stand up comedy and jazz today with Jane.
The plan now is to return to Dublin after Georgie's wedding and continue the job hunting for both the U.K and Ireland. I don't want to move to the U.K until I have I.T work arranged because I think I can live a better lifestyle in Dublin so until I find I.T work I'll continue what I'm doing at the moment.

I can't wait to see all of you who are still in Adelaide when I return. Put it down in your diaries now. 6pm beers at the Exeter on Monday the 12th of April. I'm looking forward to enjoying a nice cold Coopers Pale Ale with you all then.

It's actually pretty weird to think that I'll be returning after having been away for well over a year (15 months to be exact). A hell of a lot has happened in that time and I think home is going to feel a little alien, at least initially,, expecially when I'm only staying for such a short time before returning to Europe again.

See you soon,

Ned.
