Assessed cost, compatibility and effectiveness for GECC's taxation requirements. IBM conversion recommendation approved and funded at $172,000 by the Director. I managed three subordinates. � Coordinated with Personnel, Billing, Title & License and General Accounting to maintain production capability throughout the conversion. Installation of IBM system saved 240 staff hours weekly in the Tax and Systems Departments. � Managed special assignment, evaluating feasibility of an on-site video conference center. Travel expense and travel time savings in the first year exceeded project cost. � The first six months of this engagement I was contracted through AiC and then hired by GE.
