Managed the taxation systems redevelopment project.  Supervised 5 staff through the analysis, design and implementation phases.
� Directed full analysis of GE's national taxation systems.  Assessed cost, compatibility and effectiveness for GECC's taxation requirements.  IBM conversion recommendation approved and funded at $172,000 by the Director.  I managed three subordinates.
� Coordinated with Personnel, Billing, Title & License and General Accounting to maintain production capability throughout the conversion.  Installation of IBM system saved 240 staff hours weekly in the Tax and Systems Departments.
� Managed special assignment, evaluating feasibility of an on-site video conference center.  Recommended and directed installation, bringing project in under budget.  Travel expense and travel time savings in the first year exceeded project cost.
� The first six months of this engagement I was contracted through AiC and then hired by GE.
