Before going to a main point, you may have never listened about Wharton school except for those who were interested in Economics. Nowadays, there are lots of people who do not know exactly what Wharton school is and there is much misinformation about it. Thus, from now on, I am going to tell about the Wharton school. The university of Pennsylvania (UPenn) of Philadel is a school that was built in the center of the city by the idea of Benjamin Franklin in 1740. Upenn is known for emphasizing practical studies such as business among IVY league universities. Accordingly, this university is famous for medical course, law course and business school. Wharton School, which is commonly accepted as the best business school in the United States, is equal to the MBA in terms of financial investment and consulting firms. In ranking of American business schools, Wharton School keeps the 1st place and is known as the school which has the most number of professors. Regardless of the situation of economy, top investment banks, consulting companies and officers in charge of personnel administration visit UPenn campus and employ talented people every year. As the situation shapes in such a way, numerous high school students are considering it a great achievement to be accepted into the Wharton School. In order to receive high salary simultaneously with the graduation, students have to spend expensive tuition of twelve hundred thousands dollars for 4 years. However, to make them more hard is tremendous burden about their studies and painful efforts to fulfill their tasks. The economic journal, Fortune, chose 50 business schools favorable to get a job considering the reputation of officers in charge of personnel administration and employment rate. As a result of this, Wharton school was chosen as the 1st place. Graduates of this school receive average 3 employing proposals per one person. 4. After graduation
Officers in charge of personnel administration in Wallstreet visit UPenn every year to get talented people whom they want. One banker of a big investment company said that because Wharton teaches students things necessary to work in investment banks, banks do not have to train them additionally. At the beginning of the semester, officers in charge of personnel administration gathered at campus for a while and talk with students as many as possible. Most of students are in the situation, finishing summer internship and returning to campus. Considering financial aspect and security of talented people, company where students did internship employ them in advance. If companies finish employing proposals about them, real employment activities begin in order to fill empty positions. The most popular investment companies between students are Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley City Group. Wharton students think that working at investment banks after graduation for 1~2 years will be helpful to go on to MBA. Since these big investment banks have great reputation and enormous budget to employ lots of young people, hundreds of students gathered at these banks�� company explaining. Students who passed complicated and strict interview as well as written exams are employed simultaneously with graduation. At first, they usually receive simple tasks and practice various tasks of consultant. And then, they take charge of professional tasks. Even if one crosses a material that one has not covered, one does not need to worry. Mckinsey is providing mentoring system which makes skillful workers to advice inexperienced workers. All business analysts in Mckinsey have at least more than one mentor. In order not to miss workers who have superior ability and scholarship, it extended them who enter MBA or law- school intuition. Such a system plays a very important role in recruiting Wharton students. (Ridgway 47-48)
5. How to prepare to enter Wharton school
As you can see, there is no royal way to enter Wharton School. However, I can give you some helpful advise and teach what to do. Basically, you have to get great GPA from your high school because high school transcript is a major factor for entering universities. As for managing your transcript, you also have to acquire good SAT, SAT2 and AP score to show your scholarship. Next, you have to do various activities related to economics. The important thing is quality, not quantity. On top of that, it is better to have business acumen to prove that you are qualified as a business man. If you satisfy these conditions, you can have relatively more possibilities to enter, compared to others.

After I finished this term paper, I as well as you came to understand much more than before. While I was writing about Wharton school, I could get a chance to establish a clear goal. The goal is to study financial engineering in Wharton and become the best fund manager in all over the world. I want to believe that my term paper helped you a lot in all aspects.
