People are usually apt to give up whenever they confront hard tasks or are in big troubles.. That¡¯s because they just think that they can not do something difficult before they even start. It is tantalizing to give up before starting. As we can see in ¡®great expectations¡¯, every cloud has a silver lining. That is, if we never give up and continue to do something hard, we can finally overcome all difficulties.
To take my personal example, I was poor at English when I was third grade in middle school. I had to become good at English in order to enter CheongShim International Academy. Especially in writing, I was in very deep despair. Because I had never written in English, to write in English was like a torture to me. Whenever I failed to write, I used to abandoned myself to despair. However, I didn¡¯t give up and I tried to finish writing in given time. Thus, when I took an entrance exam, I could write a full essay in given time with incessant practices. At last, I became a student of CSIA. At that time, I realized that there is nothing that people can not do if they have perseverance.
As most people know Park ji Sung, he had made a poor living. When he was young, he even couldn¡¯t buy soccer shoes. He was introvert and thin but good at soccer. So, when he tried to become a professional soccer player, he was rejected from soccer team because of his short tall. He overcame bias by playing soccer very well and at last he became a professional soccer player. Although he was in a slump and hurt in Europe soccer league and couldn¡¯t be acknowledged by European people, he tried to show that he could do well and then he finally came to be acknowledged and became a famous soccer player to people all around the world as well as Korean people.
All in all, before even starting something, to give up is a miserable thing. Like me and him, if people who are in big trouble try incessantly, they can achieve what they really want and great pleasure. Based on my experience, I believe people can be compensated by their efforts. Thus, I like this saying ¡®Every cloud has a silver lining.¡¯
