Prayer Requests      <week of 3/27/05>

 

Alan and Amy Anderson:

- (ALAN):  Grandfather is starting dialasis

 

 Margaretta Arifin:

- I witnessed to a person, a soon-to-be Jehovah’s Witness.   He’s been thinking about life and death questions but pray for the Lord to shed light on him.

- Pray also for Damien, Brian, Antoinette.  (All people I witnessed to).

- Praise:  God truly inspired me through my projects.  I’m done with it and excited to present it to the class.  Praise the Lord!

- For salvation:  Prof. Peter Smith, Mom and Dad, Annie; my friends at Nikko’s

 

Bichok:

- Pray for my relatives in Africa that I have not seen in 18 years.  Pray that they will be saved.

 

Troy and Carol Brown:

- OUT OF TOWN this week.  Pray for their safe return to home and friends.

-     For salvation:  Kendall, James, Norman. . .

 

Timothy Callison:

- CALL HIM and see how he is doing.

 

Will and Shannon Carroll:

-  (Shannon):  Interview for a job (16^th) in Augusta.

- (Will):  My brother Jake is going to Iraq on May 15, 2005.

 

Jonathan and Allison Chambers:

- Pray for our church – Give me unity or give me death!

- (Jonathan):  Megan – emergency spiritual need.

- Congo:  inhumane situations.  Ask me or Allison more about it.  Maybe the college group could help support the country.

- Uncle Jeff (mom’s brother) – had a mild stroke last week.  He is doing better now.  Praise GOD.  May he see God’s hand in all of this and open himself to salvation.

- My ministry goals; God’s speech of my purpose in my life!  Please pray that I’ll hear His voice.

-(Allison):   Praise:  I got the job promotion.

Rebekah (co-worker / friend) – was fired.  She isn’t saved.

- Finances, ministry, future goals.

- For Salvation:    T.J. Moore, Joel, Megan, Jeremy, Mike

 

Josh Chambers:

- Evangelism Center in Statesboro.  It will be a place where Christians can be trained using the Way of the Master, a jump point for evangelism in the area, as well as a place to eye-catching tracts and other resources to aid in proclaiming the gospel to every creature.

- Pray that God will provide me with a powerful name for the ministry that He has given me (a ministry of reconciliation, bringing sinners to Christ – 2 Cor. 5:18-19)

- Praise:  God is showing me things and directing my paths.  I have begun to let him give me the wisdom that is from above.  Thank you Father.

- Youth Search Committee -  they met with a prospect and they seem positive about it.  Pray for God’s will in their final selection.  Also pray for the Music Minister Search Committee as they look.

For salvation:  LUIS (I keep bumping into Luis at GSU.  Maybe God is trying to work on him.  Pray that I will say the right things to him whenever I do see him), Jason and girlfriend, Norman,                                           Matt, Eric, Jonathan, Shivaria, Jin, Kevin, Todd, Chris, Josh, and  Brooke, Jeremy, Brandon, Ryan, Moya, Lakeisha, Tia, Randy, David, Synthia, Demarco, William, Lisa, Anthony, Chuma (from Nigeria)

     For Christians to witness:  Joel, Tanya, Quan, Cedric, and all of us to take the opportunities God gives us.

 

Vette Dixon:

 

Stacey and Laura Girardeau:   

- (Laura):  Praise – They were able to fix her sister’s car this week.

- (Stacey):  Grandmother is in the emergency and they are afraid she could develop pneumonia.

 

Kelvin:

- Jay; provin; everyone; Jazz; Larence; travel plans

 

Stephani Kimes: 

- Pray for the outcome of my car after the accident.

- Praise:  I got a promotion.

 

Joanna Kimes:        

- spring break missions -  pray that God will use me to further His kingdom; pray that the money will be there for me to go.

 

Carla Mitchell:

-  Mom fell and scratched up her face really bad and hurt her knee and hand.  Husband’s (Ed) grandfather has lung cancer.  He may be starting treatments this month.

 

Jesse and Rachel Pittman:    (ongoing)

- They have just recently moved.  Pray for them as they get settle in Dalton, Ga.  Pray for their spiritual needs as well.

 

Katie Rountree:

- My Papa (mom’s dad) is in the hospital with pneumonia in both lungs. 

 

Ronnie Spear:

- Two of my friends lost their grandfather last week.  Pray that Ronnie can comfort them.

 

Amy Tomberlin:   (we were glad to have Amy with us on Sunday)

- Pray for God to guide and direct my life.  I am unsure what direction and purpose He has for me; I know He does have a purpose.

- For God to continue to heal me in all ways.

- My parents

- For me to be more disciplined and continue to grow and learn.

     America, Iraq, Afghanistan, the future of our Sunday school class, the spiritual growth of our church, our pastor and deacons, church council to seek God’s guidance in leading, the lost that we will share the gospel with to open their hearts to God’s word.

   Praise:  Charlton Brown accepted the Lord as his savior.  He was visited our class with his friend Jackie Crawford.  We thank God for them and hope that they continue to attend.  Pray that God will equip us to disciple them because of their special needs.  Pray that they start attending again.

       That each member of our class will find time during the week to reach out to the lost and share the important Gospel message with those they encounter.  For Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort as they continue making new episodes that will strengthen our ability and effectiveness in reaching the lost for Christ.

                Pray for the Tsunami victims; the families of those effected; the clean-up efforts; the financial support; the rebuilding of buildings, homes, and lives.
