Prayer Requests <week of 12/05/04>
Alan and Amy Anderson:

Praise: Pero Negro who works at Jalapeno’s was on his way back to
- Amy: that I can handle myself in a manner that speaks to my fellow
workers. And that she can be patient with the rude holiday shoppers.
- Alan’s friends at Jalapenos for salvation; Angel (Alan’s
friend) reading the Spanish Bible and asking Alan questions.
Margaretta Arifin:
- Pray for coming exams; for
safety for our trip to
- Praise: My friend Shona was ready to get a divorce but the Lord intervened
and put a christian counselor
in her path. She just began her 7 weeks
of trying out the counseling methods. Pray
for her marriage.
- For
salvation: Prof. Peter Smith, Mom and
Dad, Annie
Jeff Beasley:

My brother and his buddies / roommates; grandparents illnesses; Mom’s job.

My co-workers at Moe’s is a suffering group. Many people need help.
Kristi Bridges:
- My
grandmother (Christine Troxell) has terminal cancer. Pray for her strength dealing with the
sickness and keeping her spirits up.

My mom (Aras Bridges). She is taking care of my grandmother. She isn’t sleeping much and is very stressed.
- My boyfriend Jeff Beasley for
his test coming up and graduating.
- Carol: I have lots of things going on. Pray that I don’t get stressed.
- Let me be on the ball and
prepared for my student teacher next semester. Pray that she will be a good student and
prepared for class.

Josh and I got married!
- Exams (5 this week); my new
leadership role at BSU for next semester; Way of the Master 1-Day Seminar in
January
- Youth search committee and
the youth group.
- Sarah L. – depression /
suicidal tendencies;
Josh – follow and listen to God’s guidance involving career and
ministry.
- Caryn – seek God’s guidance and for me to be an effective witness to her.
- Summer mission applications – that God will use me
this summer to further His kingdom.
Carla Mitchell:
Praise: Ed got a job!! Super Awesome!! Also, I won a $5,000 grant to use for science
in my classroom.
- Ed Mitchell (husband) for
salvation and to find a job. Also
pray that we as a class will find ways to reach out to him. (ongoing)
- Ed’s grandfather is having
health issues, chest pains.

Iraq, Afghanistan, the future of our Sunday school class, the spiritual growth
of our church, our pastor and deacons, church council to seek God’s guidance in
leading, the lost that we will share the gospel with to open their hearts to
God’s word.
Praise: Charlton
Brown accepted the Lord as his savior. He was visited our class with his friend Jackie Crawford. We thank God for them and hope that they
continue to attend. Pray that God will
equip us to disciple them because of their special needs. Pray that they start attending again.
That each
member of our class will find time during the week to reach out to the lost and
share the important Gospel message with those they encounter. For Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort as they
continue making new episodes that will strengthen our ability and effectiveness
in reaching the lost for Christ.
