Prayer Requests <week of 11/14/04>
Alan and Amy Anderson:
- Praise: Brian’s sinus surgery was a success they
removed some pollops (Amy Tomberln had the same surgery as well – continue to
pray for her); Tamara found a job but Shane still needs one.
- Pray that Brian has an easy
recovery
- Alan’s friends
at Jalapenos for salvation; Angel
(Alan’s friend) reading the Spanish Bible and asking Alan questions.
Margaretta Arifin:
- For salvation: Prof. Peter Smith, Mom and Dad, Annie
- Praise: for the big turnout in the presidential election; my drivers license and social security issue is resolved. I really believe the Lord worked this out.
Troy and Carol Brown:
- Praise: Diefenbach’s (Cindy and Brian) adopted a baby boy.
- Tyler, a student, for
emotional, medical, home life needs.
- For
salvation: Kendall, James,

Timothy Callison:
- My aunt Jan will
probably have back surgery soon. Pray
for God’s healing either with or without the surgery.
Will and Shannon Carroll:
- Isaac

Jonathan and Allison Chambers:
- finances / house; that Jeff
will start coming to church.
- To trust in God
- New marriage
- George W. Bush and the
nation.
- Way of the Master bible
study, those witnessing and those they witness to; our class as they
evangelize the world.
Josh Chambers:
- Continue praying for me as I seek God’s guidance for my
life. He may be calling me to the
ministry.
- Praise: I now have a temporary part-time job at
Archaia Books in downtown Statesboro.
For salvation: LUIS, Jason and
girlfriend, Norman, Matt, Eric, Jonathan, Shivaria, Jin, Kevin, Todd, Chris,
Josh, and Brooke, Jeremy
For Christians to witness: Joel, Tanya,
Quan, Cedric, and all of us to take
the opportunities God gives us.
Vette Dixon:
- my back pain. The doctor’s don’t know what is wrong. I want an answer so the doctors know what to
do.

- Praise: got a new camper. Pray that we can sell the old one.
Stephani Kimes: (Ongoing)
- Chris’ dad lost his job
again. Keep his whole family in your
prayers.
Joanna Kimes:
- Caryn – seek God’s guidance
and for me to be an effective witness to her.
- A friend who is having
financial struggles.
- summer mission applications
– that God will use me this summer to further His kingdom.
Carla Mitchell:
Praise: Finally got a
chance to talk to husband (Ed – pray for his salvation) and one of his friends
about being a “good person.” Also,
witnessing in Savannah was a success.

salvation and to find a job. Also
pray that we as a class will find ways to reach out to him. (ongoing)

- Salvation for my brother
(Lucas Oxford) and Stan Oxford (dad).

Hollie (youth) accepted
the Lord. Please help us to give her
proper guidance and for her to read the Word.
America, Iraq, Afghanistan, the future of our Sunday school class, the spiritual growth of our church, our pastor and deacons, church council to seek God’s guidance in leading, the lost that we will share the gospel with to open their hearts to God’s word.
Praise: Charlton Brown accepted the Lord as his savior. He was visited our class with his friend Jackie Crawford. We thank God for them and hope that they continue to attend. Pray that God will equip us to disciple them because of their special needs. Pray that they start attending again.
That each member of our class will find time during the week to reach out to the lost and share the important Gospel message with those they encounter. For Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort as they continue making new episodes that will strengthen our ability and effectiveness in reaching the lost for Christ.
