Prayer Requests <week of 10/03/04>

Alan Anderson:

- Praise: His truck is working now

Margaretta Arifin:

- Pray for my sister. Her heartburn got worse last night (Saturday) and we had to send her to the emergency room. Pray she'll be well for this coming week and continue on with school.

Praise: We prayed together and she's showing faith in the Lord!!

- Pray for the Lord to continue guiding her.

Allison Beasley:

- My grandmother is not doing well. She is showing possible signs of Alzheimers. My mom is under a lot of stress and not getting much sleep while caring for her.

- Wedding plans

- Jeff has moved into his new apartment. Pray that he will start coming to church.

Troy and Carol Brown:

- Kay (teacher at Carol's school) and Jimmy Anthony (State-Farm insurance agent) - Flying out to Minnesota on Wednesday morning to have his kidney removed. He has a tumor that is malignant most likely. The kidney will either be removed by laser surgery or traditional means. Please pray for them as she will be out there with no other family.

- For salvation: Kendall, James, Norman. . .

Will and Shannon Carroll:

- Praise: Shannon located an internship for this semester

- Will's ulcers; that God would heal them FAST!

Jonathan Chambers:

-Wedding plans, financial struggles

- Way of the Master bible study, those witnessing and those they witness to.

- Luis (devout catholic), Chad (atheist), Misty Fadden (spiritual guidance for her life - she is looking for something), Jeremy Sapp (spiritual need).

- Vette Dixon - spiritual and physical needs

Josh Chambers:

- Continue praying that I get done all that I need to get into a grad school sometime next year.

- I need to get a decent job very soon.

- Pray for me to always seek God's guidance in my life.

For salvation: Luis, Jason and girlfriend, Norman, Matt, Eric, Jonathan, Shivaria, Jin, Kevin, Todd, Chris, Josh, and Brooke.

For Christians to witness: Joel, Tanya, Quan

Stacey and Laura Girardeau:

- Praise: got a new camper. Pray that we can sell the old one.

Stephani Kimes:

- My doctor's visits, that my biopsy comes back negative. Pray that I can regulate my blood clotting disorder.

- Chris' dad lost his job again. Keep his whole family in your prayers.

Joanna Kimes:

- Stephani - doctor's appointment

- Youth "True Love Waits" service coming up

- Presidential election and summer missions

Carla Mitchell:

- Ed Mitchell (husband) for salvation. Also pray that we as a class will find ways to reach out to him. (ongoing)

- doctor's appointment last Friday; blood pressure is 172/101 so they took bloodwork; cholesterol is extremely high - went on blood pressure medicine. I can't have caffeine : < but at least they caught it now.

Praise: The 9 weeks is almost over. Yeah!

Jesse and Rachel Pittman:

- Pray for Marilyn Manson, that he will see that Jesus is the way. He is my brother's role model.

- Salvation for my brother (Lucas Oxford) and Stan Oxford (dad).

- Jesse's mom (Elizabeth) is having surgery in Texas. She has no family there to support her.

Amy Tanner:

- The wedding is this weekend - pray for stress levels and that everything gets done.

Hurricane victims, the presidential election in November, current president, America, Iraq, Afghanistan, the future of our Sunday school class, the spiritual growth of our church, our pastor and deacons, church council to seek God's guidance in leading, the lost that we will share the gospel with to open their hearts to God's word.

Praise: Charlton Brown accepted the Lord as his savior this Sunday. He was visited our class with his friend Jackie Crawford. We thank God for them and hope that they continue to attend. Pray that God will equip us to disciple them because of their special needs.

That each member of our class will find time during the week to reach out to the lost and share the important Gospel message with those they encounter. For Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort as they continue making new episodes that will strengthen our ability and effectiveness in reaching the lost for Christ.
