The frame and running gear of 4-6-0 #3 sit in the foreground, while an old time coach is on the adjacent track. This engine is well over 100 years old and is quite famous, having been in many movies and TV shows. |
| One of the most notable appearances for #3 was in 'Back to the Future 3'. Her boiler is in the back shop (different building) undergoing a major overhaul. Last I heard, the project lost its funding and is on hold for a while. The dark, gloomy, historic conditions of the roundhouse inspired me to try these same shots in Black and White. Easy to do with the magic of digital imaging. |

| #28 and #34 in the Roundhouse (#28 in the foreground). I didn't intend to get the shop worker in the shot, but he came around the corner as I snapped the picture. Don't mind him being there, but he moved too much. In Black and White it doesn't look too bad, as it gives it more of an Old Time feel, when camera's weren't as good and people were always a little blurry. |
