My name is "Nermine" , be pronounced like that "Ner-Meen", actually it's not Arabic name, however you can call me "Neri"... it's much more easier.
I'm ordinary Muslim Arabian Egyptian girl ,i was born and i'm still living in the most wonderful coastal city in Egypt "Alexandria" ,the city has been founded by Alexander the Great in
332 B.C., It's the land of ancient Lighthouse "Pharos" (one of the seven wonders of ancient world).
Yeah it's a very ancient city with long rich history;a typical Mediterranean city, we called it
"The Bride of Mediterranean sea" and " The pearl of Mediterranean"..Okay ,i have to admit my being soooo biased to Alexandria...lol..
In my city you can enjoy the Greek, Roman,Coptic& Islamic historical sites, nice beaches ,theatres, restaurants,coffeshops,malls, local markets,gardens,University & Libraries .

* Reading is at the top of the list of my favorite hobbies , i like to read books on religion, History,computer&languages ,besides my fondness of photography & writing articles (Articles on Traveling,History,Religions,Cultures & Politics).
i love Traveling (but when I get enough money and nice company of friends to travel with+_~) unfortunately i never been abroad before but i have a dream to travel to specific spots that their cultures are fascinating me..specifically Italy (for its numerous architecture ,countryside& its people) , Turkey (for its Islamic mosques and oriental heritage ) ,Spain (for its folk music and Andalusia history which is an amazing mixture of Hispanic and Arabian culture).,i'm also facinated by the cultures of these countries Japan,Syria,Latin America,China& Morocco.
i have been to many marvelous places in my country ,I've been to Cairo several times (my favorite place in there is 'Khan el Khalil ' where you would love to have a seat in a local coffee shop and watching people of different nationalities coming and going,i consider it the real heart of Egypt), i went to Giza (where i do enjoy riding camels in Pyramids area),also Luxor, Rashid (Rossette) and Egyptian countryside.. and i still keep wandering around my lovely country..
I can't live without surfing internet to correspond with friends and meeting new people; from different cultures& countries to broaden my mind and enrich my knowledge,
i don't mind to discuss my culture & my religious belief with my friends if they really mean to learn about it ; as long as we have respect to each other .
I'm so keen on Graphics&Web design and love learning foreign languages as I speak English, soooo little French and Italian,I like watching movies (specially comic movies ,Documentaries and Drama), Shopping (completely addicted to buying
Hand bags), i like eating ice cream~_~ ,walking on the beach.

The Great Passion i have for my country 'Egypt' has motivated me to build this humble site for everyone who is keen on exploring The Real Egypt .
Egypt is not only the cradle of ancient civilizations or the land of pyramids but there are plenty of things you still don�t know about this country... Hoping my site would participate fairly in correcting the wrong concept that mistakenly been taken for several centuries in West about Arabs ..
There is a concept that we all should put in our consideration that in every culture there is a good side and also an unacceptable side and it's a big mistake to brush a whole nation with the same brush..
As a matter of fact, our world nowadays needs from us to attempt to stop wars and to open channels of understanding & respect between each other ,to live in peace& love side by side.
Bottom of the line, I feel so proud of being Egyptian, Egyptians are The successor of two great ancestors (Pharaohs & Arabs) who left to the whole world a very rich heritage of knowledge in all fields.
