Welcome to my info.
As you could have figured, my name is Carl Nehl. I'm the 1. Guitar
and back up vocals in some songs in out little band called Egonburm.
Maybe you haven't noticed, but I'm also the webmaster of this
page, and it was quite hard setting this damn thing up... Especially
because my friggen computer was missing for 1 MONTH (imagine the
torture)
I'm turning 15 this coming May, so
I can't wait until next year because I can drink legally! Well,
those are the German rules, and since I AM German I'm really happy.
In my band I play with 2 guitars: A fender Stratocaster with mother
of pearl plating, Seymour Duncan pick ups and a rosewood neck,
and an Ibanez 7-string guitar (The same KoRn uses (!!) )
Now to my likes and influences in my
music :
My favorite band of all time is KoRn... The music kinda got to
me... I just love their riffs, music and attitude... Because of
them I bought a 7string guitar (as you can see above) just to
play their songs. I have every album and I'm gonna definitely
stick to their 5. album this coming summer... My written music
is kinda influenced by them. Of course I like allot of other bands
like Slipknot, Green Day, Rammstein, Slapshock+Greyhounds(both
Filipino bands), Nirvana to name just a few. Rock of course isn't
the only taste of music I have... I've been playing guitar for
a year and before that I played classical piano for 7 years. I
don't listen to classical, but I have no problem listening to
it. Same goes for blues, jazz and all the other music styles except
for POP. I despise POP because it's not really music anymore.
