| Egocentric The Legacy |
| Egocentric formed one cold wednesday night in a semi drunken state at Leam Lane Social Club in Gateshead. In a sudden state of realisation that Anthony, Barry, Graham and Leigh were getting left behind in the "lets form a band" stakes, they decided to get one together themselves, After weeks of drinking, and a "ill play that" attitude they finally got the practise studio. Their first song, "Let me in (The Biscuit Song)" was lost in the mist of time, because it was crap! The Band, now called Booker T 4, covered a few of the bands favourite songs, "I wouldnt belive your radio", "Lucky Man", "Knocking on Heavens Door" and much more. A week later, they had changed their name twice, Clint Power, for about four days, and then Old Biddies Hide Out. It was back in a semi drunken state that the name Egocentric was born. The first Egocentric song "Lost In Alcohol" was hailed by the critics, well the people in the club anyway, but the follow up Disparity has been hailed as future classic*. Songs keep coming, and with the first gig getting ever closer, its time to shut up and listen. Hail Hail, the centric are here! |
