A part of a larger "booklet" Elsie Stroud compiled.

In a dim and distant past, sometime, somewhere -
A young man said to a maiden fair,
"I love thee, love thee. Wilst thou marry me?"
"Yes", said she, "I will marry, marry thee."
Thus began a family tree.

Back in the Isle of Man a Looney wed
A Manxman's daughter and he gaily said,
"I'll fend for thee if you marry, marry me -
A home I'll build by yonder sea."
Thus began the Looney Family Tree.

The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
- Deut. 1:10
