Julius Caesar: "The Day After" - Newspaper Activity

The Assignment: to create a newspaper for March 16, 44 B.C. ... the day after the assassination of Julius Caesar.

The Goal: for you to combine your knowledge of the plot, character motivations, and themes of Julius Caesar with your creativity in order to design a potential newspaper for March 16th, 44 B.C.

Mandatory Elements:

two factual news stories (taken from the play) detailing events leading up to the assassination.  No opinions!

bullet

two editorials from any two characters from the play.  Loaded with opinion! It is here where you can filter in your knowledge of character motivations and themes. (Ex. "It was obvious Brutus was climbing ambition's ladder because he felt that Caesar...")

pictures (clip art or drawings)

format should be clean and neat
