| Appel Farm, Year 1 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| These are photos from my first year at Appel Farm, when I was still using my dad's crap camera that he got in Hong Kong 28 years ago. Obviously, they're not as good as my later work, but they're not that bad, considering I was just learning. My weakest spot was the actual printing part, and it took me much longer to reach the perfect print. This is the year that we went on tons of field trips, so there's more variety in the subject of the photos. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a picture of a building in Elmer, where we went for a field trip. There's a developer stain on it, but it's still a cool photo. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a... pile of wood... But hey, the depth of field thing is cool. A.K.A. how the fence isn't in focus, but the wood is. It's also at the E.S.P. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a creepy greenhouse at the Eastern State Penitentiary (E.S.P). It's kind of exposed strangely, but it still looks cool. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This was also taken at the statue garden. The person is Hannah, who was also taking a picture. I was standing in the middle of the stream on the skipping stones. This picture is also very grey, but it's an okay photo. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This was taken at a statue garden in Northen New Jersey, another field trip. It's probably one of my best pictures from my first year, though it is a little grey. I could have used a higher filter. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a peacock that was in the statue garden. The picture looks really cool because it was in front of a glass window, so it looks superimposed. I probably could have dodged the peacock to get more detail, but this is still my favorite picture from my first year. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
