So, you saw this and you were probably like, WHAT?! or WUT?! or WTF! (depending on your personal internet lingo preference). Well, I'm glad you did see this, despite it's odd appearance. Because this is something that needs to be seen. This game, which from now on will be referred to as LLR, is going to be the next big "thing". (I'm not being perverted!) You see, it may sound a little crazy, but once I explain to you all the particulars, you will be ENGROSSED with the idea of playing it! You will really want to. I promise. =D
Ok, so maybe now you're thinking that we just copied DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and made a dancing game. Well, you're wrong, you idiot. LLR is totally unique. Here are the materials required to play LLR.
Pirate
hats
Lots
o' Taffy
Club
Cheese
Grater
Eye patch
Yiddish
folk music
Colorful
picnic tablecloth
Music
playing device
Group
of people
Beautiful
Wooded Park
Alllright. So you've got all the materials needed to play Laff Laff Revolution. Good for you! Now I will tell you how to go about setting it up.
Go to
a Beautiful Wooded Park
Put a
colorful picnic tablecloth on the ground.
Place
all the pieces of taffy on a colorful picnic tablecloth.
Set up
your music playing device near the taffy, with Yiddish folk music ready
to play.
Place
a group of people to the side of the tablecloth
Set aside
the club and the cheese grater near the tablecloth
Put the
pirate hats and eye patches somewhere so you will be able to access them
Ok! Everything is set up now. Who wants to go first? Here are the instructions for taking your turn whilst playing LLR.
1. Choose
your weapon of choice (club or cheese grater) It is reccomended for beginners
to use a club, because the cheese grater is only used in the more difficult
levels.
2. Place
a pirate hat on your head. (If you are skilled, you may also put on an
eye patch)
3. Step
up to the colorful picnic tablecloth.
4. Tell
someone to put on the Yiddish folk music.
5. Begin
whacking the taffy! If you whack it well, you will receive shouts of "L'Chaim!"
from the group of shouters. However, if you smash the taffy badly, you
will receive a "BOO!'
Also, if you eat the taffy, you will receive a very loud "BOO!" and possibly
a disease.
6. When
your Yiddish folk song is completed, step away from the tablecloth. The
group of shouters will rate your taffy smashing skillz with one of the
following titles:
Stupendous
Smasher :-D
Wonderful
Whacker :-)
Mediocre
Masher :-|
Horrible
Hitter :-(
Sad Slammer
:-O
You will probably improve with time. Hopefully one day you will be a Stupendous Smasher, but it usually takes a while to reach that rank. Remember, at any time during your turn, the group of shouters may yell out "AUGH!" and your turn will be over. You will not receive a rating, but you will be forced to go play on whatever playing equipment is available at your Beautiful Wooded Park for 3 minutes, during which time the group of shouters will scoff at you and yell things like, "HAHA! You're sliding down a slide!"
You can also play LLR in versus mode, which means 2 people smash the taffy at the same time. This can get dangerous though, so only skilled laffers should try this mode. (BTW, smashing taffy is called "laffing" in LLR lingo) So when you go to take your turn, you can say that you are laffing. Get it? I do.
So now you know the basics of Laff Laff Revolution. We could go in to depth even further, but I doubt your attention could be held that long. So have fun playing LLR this summer, and be safe! (the latter which would probably require you not to play LLR, but oh well!)
