| We had a very hard rain on Friday the 11th. It wasn't until Sunday the 13th that we visited the Red Zone. I noticed a lot of tree debris on the track at the lowest part of the railraod. As we got closer, we realized that our model railroad had a washout, similar to what happens on the real railroads. Apparently it rained so hard that the culvert could not empty the water fast enough, and the track acted like a dam. As the water spilled over the track, it took the ballast with it.
