Sleepers
Potential breakout and comeback players that could put up monster numbers for your team.
Adrian Beltre (SEA)
Last season (SEA): .255 AVG, 19 HR, 87 RBI
2 seasons ago (LAD): .334 AVG, 48 HR, 121 RBI
Dodgers coaching staff says Beltre finally got comfortable in LA in his final season.  Injuries and new surroundings could have caused some of the disappointing 2005 season.  He bats in the 3-hole, after Ichiro and before Richie Sexson.  Mock drafts have him going in the 10th round.

Reasonably expect: .275 AVG, 25 HR, 100 RBI
Comeback: .285 AVG. 38 HR, 125 RBI
Carlos Beltran (NYM)
Last season (NYM): .266 AVG, 16 HR, 78 RBI, 17 SB
2 seasons ago (KC): .266 AVG, 38 HR, 104 RBI, 42 SB
It is hard for a 40-40 threat to live up to his potential with  a bum leg.  Only stole 3 bases in the first 3 months.  Will see even more pitches with Delgado hitting behind him.  It is hard to guess what will happen with stolen bases because of the stacked line-up.  Injury or not, Beltran always has always at the top in SB percentage.

Reasonably expect:  .270 AVG, 22 HR, 95 RBI, 28 SB
Comeback:
.290 AVG, 30 HR, 110 RBI, 36 SB

Jim Thome (CHW)- Will benefit from the DH position.  His back will be an issue and he is past his prime.  If he can remain healthy all year he will hit over easily 30 HR, most likely closer to 40 HR.

Curt Schilling
(BOS)- Proved in 2004 if he can still breath, he can still pitch.  High powered offense means that a 15 win season is a guarantee if he can stay healthy.

Scott Rolen
(STL)- Says he is ready to come back and dominate this season.  Don't forget, Rolen was considered elite.  Prefer him batting 4th, behind Albert Pujols.  The good news is that both Pujols and Edmonds have high OBP and OPS, so look for them to be in scoring position when Rolen is up.

Jason Schmidt
(SF)- Most consistent starter before last season.

Nomar Garciaparra
(LAD)- Will bat 5th and might return to some of his former glory.  If he qualifies at SS in your league then take a chance on him.  .280, 20-25HR, 90+RBI are all very possible for him.  Keep a close eye on him and see how well he moves before the season starts.

Frank Thomas
(OAK)- Sure he might not be able to run or even walk very well, but you do not have to be able to walk to hit homeruns.  Lost 10 pounds through conditioning in the off-season.  12 homeruns in only 105 at bats definitely has to intrigue fantasy owners.

Injury Risks
Delmon Young (TB)
Everybody knows this young stud has a lot of pop in his bat.  But did you know that he could also steal 20 bases?  He is a few years away from the big time numbers but definitely worth a look this season.
