'The Box'

Egg Robo was looking into the blue sky, wishing he'd gone to the toilet before he left. It had been hours since he came here. He was starting to get hungry.

"Where is Buzzy?" he thought to himself, "He's been gone for hours!" He looked down into the canyon, it made him forget how hungry he was. "It looks like a big drop" he remarked to nobody imparticular. He picked up up a stone and dropped it down into the river, several hundred feet below him. He of course couldn't see or here the splash as the pebble hit surface of the water. However, he did hear the torential crashing of a nearby waterfall, "Now I definitely need the toilet." Considering what he should do next. He eventually told himself that Buzz Bomber would not be back for sometime yet, so he gave in and ran to the public toilet in the cable car station.

"Phew" Egg Robo thought to himself, "I'm glad I made it." He returned his gaze to the sky, which was now rapidly darkening, "I must have been in there sometime".

He soon reached the spot where he was waiting for Buzz Bomber. He saw the very distinct shape of Buzz Bomber hovering, as always, above the canyon, with what looked to be a box, hanging from his tail.

"Where have you been, Egghead?" Buzz Bomber shouted with an annoyed tone present in his synthesised voice, "I've been here for twenty minutes!" Egg Robo had been gone a long time. " I've got the box you wanted from the post office," he nodded toward the parcel, hanging from his abdomen. "But I still don't understand why I had to get it."

Egg Robo rolled his eyes, "I've already told you why!"

"No you haven't!" Buzz Bomber replied with intense frustration at Egg Robo's idiocy.

Egg Robo just shrugged his sholders and picked up the box, which had by now fallen from Buzz Bomber's grip, "Let's go home".

Back at the house, Egg Robo opened the front door and went into the kitchen. "Cup of tea?" he asked as he placed the box on the table.

Buzz Bomber ignored the question; staring at the box on the table, "what is it then?"

"Wait and see," Egg Robo replied as he carried two large cups of coffee to the other end of the table.

"Thanks," Buzz Bomber said as he started to drink the tea, still staring at the box. He watched as Egg Robo went to the box and began to unrap it.

"I've been waiting for this for ages," as he reached into the now open box, "I'm really hungry!" Buzz Bomber watched as Egg Robo removed the contents of the box and placed it into his mouth, "gulp!" he swallowed.

"A chaos emerald?!?" Buzz Bomber exclaimed. But all Egg Robo did was grin.
