Hastings 2000 Photos
Below are some pictures of the re-enactment, which happened on my birthday, October 14th, 2000. Met lots of people from all over the world - USA, Russia, France, Scandinavia, New Zealand, you name it. The Australian contingent was quite large, but most decided to play perfidious filthy Norman swine. There were a couple of us on the side of the noble, handsome, honorable, intelligent Englisc. And being at the top of the hill, we didn't have to keep on going up and down. An added benefit. Photos kindly provided by Thorsten Piepenbrink - see his website for more, and for the conditions under which he allows copies to be made.
