You come to a halt before what seems to be the end of the tunnel.  There is a feel of somethign blurring, but you cannot tell what.  The air, if that iis what it is, shimmers in front of you and you seem to be looking into some unknown place.  It seems somehow surreal and at the same time too real.  You gather your courage and make your decision.
