...we take a dip in the Japanese bath - a small tiled outdoor pool with hot mineral water. Then we got to the pool, which has a little waterfall at the deep end, before going to the bar to talk with Jerry. Noga gets a pina colada and I order a Belizean Guiness. We talk to Jerry about what to do and such, then decide to get massages. Noga signed up for a seaweed massage and I enlisted for the aromatherapy massage. The massage was quite relaxing. Even the music was soothing - a drum beat coming from what seemed to be the jungle itself. After we managed to slide off the massage tables, Noga and I slinked back to our cabana, just in time to beat another rain shower. We put on a CD called 'Opium' by Ottmar Liebert and washed up with the rather salty water. The resort states that while this water is safe to drink, it has certain minerals that lends it the salty taste and one wouldn't want to drink too much. I used bottled water to brush my teeth. After we cleaned up, we layed on the bed, listening to the New Age music and the rain falling on the thatched roof. The shower ended as we were going to dinner, which was excellent. Flour tortillas with hummus, cauliflower soup, rosemary chicken for Noga and roast lamb for me, and cheesecake for dessert. Always, there were red hibiscus on nearly every plate. Then we came back to our cabana to a turned-down bed, closed shutters, the air conditioner running, a mosquito coil lit, chocolates on the pillow, and fresh flowers.
