Newman - is the arch nemesis of Jerry Seinfeld that works at the post office and always plots his revenge against Jerry. Jerry always greets Newman with a taditional "Hello Newman" Newman gets along well with Jerry's friend, Kramer so he often is over at Jerry's which allows for quite a continuing feud between Jerry and Newman. On one occasion Jerry and Newman form an alliance to get Newman transfered to a Postal job in Hawaii. Jerry helps him deliver mail but the fact that people get mail on time and with so little mail lost, gives away the scheme as the post office never delivers things on time to the right people on the show.
Newman also appears in many other episodes of Seinfeld such as when he kidnapps an innocent dog that keeps waking Elaine up at night. Newman, Kramer, and Elaine then set the dog free in the county, the dog finds his way home, and the three are arrested.
Newman appears in many other episodes, but one of the funniest is when he tells Jerry's mom that he was making out during Schindler's list.
