These Analysis of Variance tests were performed in SPSS 10.0 to confirm the previous results reached by the t-tests.
In the analysis of Grade vs. Score, the test shows that very positively, these results weren’t by accident, that 0.0 times out of 100 would this be due to chance. This also follows the t-test’s results which found that subjects in higher grades could remember more words.

In the analysis of Gender vs. Score, there is a very high chance, 1.0, that the data happened this way by chance. This would agree with the t-test showing no significant difference between the genders in recall ability.
