Lesson Title: Nuclear scavenger Hunt

Technology Connection:� *use the Internet to answer questions and use MS word to type responses and questions.
�Procedures: Whole group activity: Teacher uses power point demo to show picture of nuclear power plants.
*The whole group discusses and has a general introduction to MS Word.
SMALL GROUP:� The Class is separated in their assigned groups and decides on five question that they want to be answered about nuclear power plants.
*Teacher also provides the class with five questions.
INDIVIDUAL:� Students move to assigned Internet computer.� The students open folder on desktop that is marked ?nuclear power?. This folder contains a MS Word document with a hyperlink to the web site.
* Students then answers the questions by typing the answers on the MS word document.
Assessment: *Students will be assigned pts. For completed print out. Students will also complete a rubric for self-evaluation with regards to their participation as a group member.� Teacher also completes a rubric to evaluate the group member.
Materials/Technology Needed:
*Computer lab with Internet access
*Classroom multimedia computer for MS power pt.
