I had been wanting to go to the taping of the show, mainly because it was a tv show, and I had never seen a tv show being filmed. But, I had just moved to Nashville, and I didn't have any friends that liked country music, so I didn't have anybody that wanted to go with me. Then one day I happened to meet a girl named Leslie who had gone to the show many times with a few of her friends. So, we decided that we were gonna go to the show together the next day. So, when we got there, I was totally amazed with the fact that they were about to tape a real live TV show right there LOL. When Lance came out to the set before the show, my first thought was, "He's even cuter on tv than he is in person." Then, after the show, I thought I'd try to get a picture taken with him. And, once again, the guy has hawk eyes or something, he noticed me looking at him, so he looked up and asked if I needed something. So, I asked if he would take a picture with me. He was like, "Well of course!" and ran over to me and put his arm around me and smiled for the camera.
The next time I went, a few days later, Leslie and I waited in line to talk to him after the show. Once we came up to the front of the line, he talked to us like we had known him forever. Of course, he had known Leslie longer than he had known me. After going to the show a few times, he would come talk to me before I got a chance to come to him. Since then, I've been a big fan. Everytime I see Lance, I get a hug, and if time permits, get to talk to him for a few minutes. He is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. There are only two stars that I have real respect for, one of course being Lance, and the other is Bryan White.
