| Episode 1: Sakura and the mysterious magic book |
| In the darkness only iluminated by Tokyo Tower, a costumed girl stands alone on a building as cards float from the sky. As she goes to reach for one of the cards, she steps off the building...and wakes up. Sakura Kinomoto, age 10 wakes up that morning late as usual, and rushes to get dressed and eat breakfast. "Monster," her 16 year old brother Touya mumbles. Sakura screams at him, but makes sure to get out the door at the same time so that she can see his friend, the dreamy Yukito. Once they get to school, Yuki gives Sakura a piece of candy, and she swoons. Just around the corner is Sakura's friend Tomoyo, and as they go through the day together, you can see that she lives a pretty average life of an elementary school girl. That afternoon, she came home to see that her brother and father wheren't home. She heard something in the basement, and began to infestigate. Once downstairs, she sees a glowing book called The Clow. It opens up, and inside are a pile of cards. The top card reads "Windy", but once the word passes Sakura's lips, the entire room became a whirlwind of air, and all of the cards dissapeared. Suddenly, out of the book emerged a tiny yello teddy bear looking thing with an Osakan accept who called himself Keroberos. He explains that if they don't get these cards back, they will wreak havock on the world! So that evening after she had fed Kero a couple times, a giant bird appeared outside of her bedroom window! Kero ordered Sakura to capture it, and with the use of a new wand that he granted her the power to, she used Windy to make a chain around the giant bird. "Just what I'd expect from a cardcaptor!" "But, I never agreed!!" Sakura cries. |
