| I started taking piping lessons in January 2003. By July of last year I had my own set of pipes. For you piping enthusiasts they are David Naill DN4s. I currently have about 5 playable tunes with more to come. In July of 2004 I am scheduled to go to my first Bagpipe Camp in Vernon, B.C., far away from discriminating ears. I currently go to Seattle to take lessons once every other week. My teacher is a very talanted young piper named Jori Chisholm. If you ever get the chance to hear him play, walk don't run for tickets. He is a very good teacher. |

| Me, my pipes and a wee dram of the water of life....January 1, 2003. On New Years eve, at midnight, I played Auld Lang Syne on Ediz Hook by Port Angeles Harbor. It was so cold that my chanter reed froze and my knees turned blue under my kilt! | ||||||||||
