I am presently in the last year of my Ph. D study in the Electrical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. My specialization is Power Engineering. I have one year's full time research experience in Nanyang Technological University in the Republic of Singapore. I got Bachelor and Master degree in China, both in Electrical Engineering major from Xi'an Jiaotong University and Zhejiang University. I have adequate knowledge of economics and business from various courses offered by the department of Economics and Mays Business school at Texas A&M University.
Through my previous college and work experience, I have developed a strong background and interest in Power Engineering related work. Currently my interests are in the study of power systems under deregulation environment. Power industry restructuring in the States brought lots of changes in this traditional vertically integrated industry. It also brought many new problems after the power engineering is open to competitive markets.
I would like to join power engineering as my long-term career goal. Due to my extensive knowledge of power systems, computer, economics, and business, I would make an ideal candidate for a full time employee or internship in a power company. I would be available for full time internship beginning from fall semester in 2003.
If you are an interested employer, please provide me your contact information, and I will send you my resume. My resume will provide a more comprehensive view of my qualifications. As you will see from my resume, my course work and working experience are appropriate for working under the deregulation environment.
I would appreciate a personal interview to discuss the possibility of beginning a full time employment or an internship. I may be contacted at the above address and phone.
Thank for your time and interest.
