Established: 1947 Founded in 1946 the Eels first premiership game was on April 12, 1947. Parramatta 12 lost to Newtown 34 at Cumberland Oval. Parramatta 13 beat Western Suburbs 8 at Cumberland Oval on June 21, 1947 to record their first win.
