| Again.... Thanks to Dave and his site for the help. I will send e-mail with story/mission info and NPC (Non-Player Character) interactions, when you receive an e-mail and your character has something to do or say jump in and reply. Make sure to reply to the group so ALL its members can stay up to date with what's going on. Also, unless I specifically designate places within the text for you to reply, please, only reply at the end of the post (it keeps the continuity form getting screwy, makes it easier for everyone to follow the story.. Also, post the entire letter so we all can see what part you're responding to. After play begins, I will post AT LEAST once a week (probably more), making sure to keep the story going forward, pride clues, badguy to fight, whatever. Everyone's expected to reply/post at least once a week so I know they're still playing. Unless you let me know you need some time off, I'll assome that it you aren't posting, you aren't playing anymore. Like Dave, I hate rules.. so there's only one rule: HAVE FUN! If you want to have the character say something, type his/her name followed by their dialogue, like this: Quasar: Don't these rejects from mutantville have any idea that the Avengers are outta their league? If a character's ID is known to everyone, feel free to post as either their superhero ID or the public one, like this: Thing: IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME! or this: Ben: Aunt Petunia's favorite blue-eyed nephew ain't no idjit. If you want to show an action, simply surround the action with asteriks like this: Scarlet Witch: *slaps Wonder Man*, *cries hysterically*, etc. etc. Unless you try to do something way out of your league, like (*peaple's elbow to Galactus' head*), it basically will happen, but don't assume all your actions, you could put in an "(if successful)" in your post, or just check with me first, at my e-mail address, or Yahoo ID.. If you want or need to speak out of character or ask something out of character, do this: ((Boris: Deadpool question, how does a grenade do nothing? and I get hit on the head from a shield and I'm knocked out!)) I guess that's it, pretty basic, if you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask, I'll get back with you as soon as I can. |
