From the Fans: EELFest 2004
Hello fellow EEL Fans,

I just wanted to add to the list of THANK YOUs to the EEL Fan-Fest
committee. I know just how much work you have put into these meetings
in Chicago and I do appreciate all you do.

Bob and I had a wonderful time beginning on Monday night when we met
Joe and Stephan at the Hot House to hear Yoko Noge and the Jazz Me Blues Band
with John Watson, Sr. aka Morris. He was a gracious host as always. He said
then that he had hopes of attending the convention, but was supposed to be
in Ohio on Friday night for a reunion. He still had plans to attend at
that time, so we were disappointed he couldnt make it. I believe he really
wanted to come, so something beyond his control must have prevented his
attendance.

Then, we met with Stephan again on Thursday to sight see. We had a
great time with Stephan, he is so much fun to be around. He came out to our
home for dinner that night and we returned to the hotel together on Friday
and met up with Joan and Joe again.

I want to thank all of you who came up to the suite for the Kyle
Chandler Birthday Celebration. I really enjoyed the one on one talks we had that
evening...and then...the morning we had all been waiting for...the EEL
Fan-Fest.

After breakfast we gathered at the EEL Fan-Fest to enjoy a day of
hearing the attending VIPs speak to us about our favorite show, Early
Edition. They were all great. How can we ever repay them for their kindness? All
I can say is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your generosity.

Rachel, you are such a nice young lady and I know how proud your dad
must be of you...and with all the talent your dad has, I am sure you are really
proud of him. But to see how kind and generous he is with his fans,
shows an even truer greatness in him. You must be soooo proud. Thank you Ian
Abrams. I am happy to be one of your fans. I also wanted to thank you for
taking up the slack for those that werent able to attend. We could listen to
your interesting stories forever.

Of course Sandy Gordon enlightened us all with information about what
went into planning and filming each episode in short periods of time. Adam
(my grandson) was especially intrigued with the information she passed on
to us and had her autograph the book we bought for him. I loved the ghost
stories she told. She was great.

James Deuter, who played Boswell the Doorman seemed a little more at
ease with our group this time. What a nice man he is and I was amused with
his little comments as an audience participant as well.

We were fascinated with Lorenzo Clemons. He could be a stand-up
comedian. Thank you Mr. Clemons for taking time after you spoke to talk to each
of us and sign autographs. I will be watching for your name in all the new
movies and series. Im a fan for sure.

I know we were all disappointed Michael Whaley aka Detective Paul
Armstrong didnt make it, but I also want to thank him for answering all the
questions of the fans on line. We love ya and missed ya.

After all the fun, some of us just layed back in our suites, ordered
pizza and talked over the day.

The next day we went for breakfast and ventured out in our little
groups to sight see and/or headed for home. What a great week-end...Thanks for
the memories...ALL of you.
