EDSP 322: Seminar in Learning Disabilities

Explores the etiology, classroom manifestations, and treatment programs of children with learning disabilities. (3 hours)

EDSP 247: Educational Evaluation of Students with Learning Disabilities

Provides study and practice in the use of both formal and informal diagnostic assessment and observational techniques appropriate for the teacher of students with learning disabilities. (3 hours)

EDSP 231: Methods and Strategies for Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities

Emphasizes classroom educational procedures, including methods, curriculum, and materials for teaching students with learning disabilities in multiple settings. (3 hours)

EDSP 224: Working with Parents and Families of Students with Disabilities

Considers trends, research, sociological, and psychological issues; intervention procedures; and interaction with families of students with disabilities. Includes field experience with families. (3 hours)

EDSP 179: Behavior Management

Emphasizes effective behavior management and applied behavior analysis techniques for intervening in the environments of students with LD and other disabilities to increase learning. (3 hours)

EDSP 340: Learning Disabilities Teaching Internship

Provides supervised teaching experience in a school-based learning disabilities program. (3 hours)
