		     By Kim Luu, 1996.

Things you should note before you start

- The 'Neon Genesis Evangelion' images/sounds in this pack are
copyright GAINAX Co.,Ltd. <--- these people are Gods.

- MAKE SURE YOU EXTRACTED THE ZIP WITH THE '-D' PARAMETER!

- I take no responsibility should this pack cause any damage to
your computer system, you are using this pack at your own risk.

- This pack is not, nor will ever, be fully finished. I created
it for myself and my friends (you know who you are:)).

- Those of you using a display resolution of 800x600 or less make
sure the plus! settings are set so that you are NOT using
"LARGE-ICONS". Change this option in the "display" control
panel settings and select the "PLUS" tab.

- Those who are using a display res greater than 800x600 make sure
  you ARE using "LARGE-ICONS".

- Finally, the icons are designed to be used on a WHITE backdrop,
hence the really kawaii pic of Asuka is included. If you use any
dark colour background some of the icons will look real bad.

- The default backdrop is designed for 1024x768 resolution, if you
are not using this res, then select the 800x600 backdrop in the
  "backdrop" directory.

Ok guys here it is, my first proper theme pack for Windows 95. Based
Upon an extremely cool anime series done by Gainax, this pack
replaces various :

 * icons NOTE: read the *important* stuff about the icons below plz!
(Also check out the FUNSTUFF directory in ICONS)
 * sounds
 * backdrop
 * mouse pointers
 * screen saver (BETA)

The install program you just ran (probably) copied most of the files
to the required locations on your HD, BUT! There are some other files
which you need to manually place (this is because i am too lazy to
write an interactive install program :)) these include the 2 shutdown
screens and 1 start-up logo screen, because i dont know what you may
have called your Windows95 directory and the same goes for the ttf
fonts. Dont worry its not too stressful...

* The shutdown screens files, logow.sys and logos.sys go
into the windows 95 directory (e.g on my machine i have them in
  c:\win95\ , other possibilites could be c:\windows or c:\windows95)
Make backups of the old logow.sys/logos.sys if you want to keep em.
* The file "logo.sys" which is the start-up screen goes into your
  root directory.
* The fonts go into the windows 95 fonts dir (e.g c:\win95\fonts\).

After all the files are copied properly, run the themes control panel
and set it to the c:\program files\plus!\themes\evatheme.theme things
should be okay [fingers crossed]. If anything does go wrong however,
especially with the icons installing procedure described below, dont
hesitate to mail me.

Make sure to take a look at the EXAMPLE.GIF !

- IMPORTANT ICON INFO! -

Alright, let me explain what is going on here. You may have seen theme
packs before that replace your standard icons i.e "My computer"
"Network Neighbourhood" and the "Recycle bin".This is all very well
and good but when I made this pack I wanted to go further.

I wanted to replace *ALL* the icons that i thought were important,
this included the folders, control panel, printers, dialup-networking,
HD-drives, CD-roms, Floppy drives etc etc ... So i did! But this was
only possible thanks to a shareware utility called Microangelo, it has
an "Engineer" program which allows for modification of lots more icons
than standard windows allow you to do. Therefore i have included
Microangelo in this distribution (in the SUPPORT dir).
BTW Microangelo "Studio" was used to make the icons you see :)

		****************************************

You should, after initial installation, also install microangelo and
use the "Microangelo Engineer" Program to replace all those extra icons
i mentioned above. E.g to replace the control panel icon with my EVA
control panel icon, go to Engineer, then to the "Folder" TAB, click on
the control panel icon, click on "change", then browse your way to my
c:\program files\plus!\themes\evatheme\icons ane choose the EVA control
panel icon (control.ico).

Do this procedure for all the icons you want, the more the prettier your
desktop! Note I placed lots of extra icons for all your various apps and
utils in the ICONS\FUNSTUFF dir, if you want to change an app's icon e.g
Netscape or something, just right click on its *shortcut* and select
"Properties", then the "Shortcut" TAB, then the "Change Icon" option in
the bottom right corner.

		****************************************

Final note, i included more sounds than are actually utilised by the theme
this is so you can choose which sounds you prefer.
I recommend "HASHIN!" for an alternate intro sound ^_^
