Xi'an

My husband and I went for a 5-day trip to Xi'an and Huashan during Easter, 2002. The weather was very fine.

Xi'an has a very long history. It was the ancient capital city of China from around 200BC to AD990. It has been a very important meeting point of the West and the East.

Everywhere in Xi'an and the countryside is possibly a historical site.

We visited the Forest of Steles, Huaqing Palace, Qin Terracotta Army Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ci En Temple, Mount Huashan, Shaanxi History Musem, Qianling, the Tomb of PrincesYongtai, the City Wall and the Great Mosque.

The most impressed things are climbing Mount Huashan and seeing the blooming peach and cherry trees everywhere.
