After visiting Loch Ness, we took a night train from Inverness
all the way to Euston Station, London. We got on the train before 8 in
the evening and the train started at 2040 on time. We arrived in London
at 0820, a bit behind the schedule.

We rested at the station for a short moment and headed to Waterloo Station for Eurostar to Paris. The sky turned grey to blue from one coast to another.
My friend, Xavier, met us at Gare du Nord, Paris and we rested at the hotel we stayed for half an hour. We took the metro to start our prilgrimage to the Eiffel Tower.
It cost us Euro 9.90 each to reach the top and took us more than 2 hours to line up for tickets, go up and come down the Tower.
The next morning, we took a Thalys train to Brussel. It was just a 1.5 hour journey.
We just went to the most "important" tourists' spots in Belgium capital city. The Cathedral, the Grand Market, the Pissing Child and Mini Europe were our aims.

The first Monday of August was really a very hot day. It was 34 degrees!!! Luckily we were in Le Lourve and walked to the Centre National d'art et de Culture Georges Pompidou in the shade of shops.
The two museums impressed me a lot and it seemed that we never have time to finish looking at each masterpiece.
It was cooler the next morning and we went to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. The walk was very pleasant and there were not many people in the morning.
Then we went to Arc de Triomphe and walked along the Avenue des Champs Elysees to Lafayette. On the way we took more photos.
In the morning we left Paris, we went to a park recommended by my friend. It was quite big and there were some artificial rock and hills. It was like a city lung in the 19th district of Paris.

From the top of the park we can see Sacre Coeur again.
