Our latest "energy crisis" has re-emphasized our continuing saga of fluctuating and sometimes very high energy prices, concern about future supplies, dependence on unreliable sources, perhaps excessive reliance on fossil fuels, etc. etc.

In a carefully written essay of 3-4 pages length (typed, double spaced), discuss the topic from an economic point of view.  It may be partly a matter of your opinions, but you should introduce economic reasoning a concepts into your writing.  Feel free to make limited use of research, but be sure to fully acknowledge your sources, if you use any.
