Russian Maestro Mstislav Rastropovich rehearses at the Moscow
conservatory for his American orchestra's first performance in Russia. Rastropovich was deprived
of his Soviet citizenship in 1978 during a tour to Paris for his open support of Alexander
Solzhenitsyn.
