Named for the nearby ThunderPath, the cats of this clan are brave, strong warriors and hunters who feel at home in a forest environment.
On an island just off the banks of a river lies the home of RiverClan. These cats spend half their lives in the water, so their fur is sleek and dries quickly. They are excellent swimmers, and they are best of all the Clans at catching fish. They are also fiercely proud.
This is Windclan, whose cats live on the wide-open moor with few places to hide, so they depend on speed to catch their prey. They are lithe, agile, and wiry and excel at hunting rabbits.
In a shadowy marsh on the other side of the ThunderPath live the Shadowclan cats. These are the dark warriors of the forest, who always seem to be plotting something sinister. Their territory is marshy, with stunted trees and bushes, and a cold wind always blowing. The camp lies near Carrionplace, the Twolegs' garbage dump, and the cats always have to beware of catching the rat diseases.
The place clan cats go after they die. StarClan's warrior ancestors are said to be watching out for al lthe clans and decide the fate of each cat.
