Vaughn Road School
We believe that manners in general is an attitude of the heart that is self-giving.
We believe that children should be taught that manners come from the heart and are not a memorized set of rules.
We believe that respect for others is the foundation of how we treat others; therefore, manners and etiquette will naturally follow.
The mission of the second grade teachers at Vaughn Road School is to provide patient guidance in training the child to be respectful. Through repetition and hands-on activities, we can instill important basic principles and influence children's behavior in social situations and relationships.
